I love these gemstone rings made with gorgeous colored stones.
Vermeil is 18kt carat gold plating over sterling silver (925s).
To be called vermeil it must be a minimum of 2.5 microns of gold plating.
Anything else cannot be called Vermeil, but should be described as gold plated sterling silver.
These rings are 3 micron 18kt gold plating, which is heavily plated.
